The Beach!

It's been awhile since my last post, but we were at the beach. So without further ado...

And here's video of her playing in the water. A far cry from the last time she felt the Pacific Ocean (screaming bloody murder!)

An Independent Child

Amelia is now an independent little girl. Wednesday morning was her last meal on Mommy. Thursday morning, she refused to feed. So Amelia is officially weaned! Hip hip hooray. I am glad I made it to one year, 2 months and 5 days of breast feeding. It was a bitter sweet moment to see her go "No!" and then push me away. So now Amelia is all on big girl food. So liberating!

14 Months!

Swimming

A few weeks ago, Amelia took her first real dip in the pool. We headed over to Becky's house and took a swim in the pool. Amelia wasn't really into it. I don't think she liked the water. Maybe it was too chilly or it was just the mere fact that this "bathtub" was huge. Enjoy!
