Happy Fourth!

Amelia had a good time on the Fourth of July. She even stayed up to see some of the fireworks the neighbor was setting off. Lots of times she would hide under the blanket and then peek her face out to look at the pretty lights. She would even say "Awesome!" when there was a nice big bang.



However, before the fireworks spectacular, Amelia got to set off her own "fireworks." We bought her a package of "snaps" which you throw on the ground and they "pop." It took her a half a package to finally understand the concept. We started off trying to get her to throw the darn things, but then ended up having her step on them.
