Wow, I can't believe that it's been more than a month since my last post. Not too much going on... just the same old day-to-day activities of a two year old and 7-8 month old. I promise to post a little more often, but things got a bit hairy this past month where I've just been way too busy.
First off... Amelia's birthday is fast approaching. I can't believe that we're going to have a three year old. Her theme: golf. We've now secured a miniature golf course for her party. It's going to be so exciting. Amelia is growing like a weed and is getting so heavy when I pick her up. Her hair is down to her waist, too! I can't believe that she's in 3T clothes (tops) and 2T bottoms (skinny girl). In addition, sometimes she'll wear a 4T! Wowsers! Below is a slide show of Amelia golfing.
Elaina continues to grow. I weighed her on the scale a few days ago and she's tipping it at 17.6 pounds and she's tall... well, average, in the 50th percentile. She won't go in for a full check up until June so we'll see how big she is then. Elaina still has two teeth and her first word was "dada." Still working on "mama." She loves to giggle and squeal. She's eating table foods and never has had any baby food except for rice cereal. Elaina absolutely adores chicken! She's learning how to crawl. She's got the motions down, but still hasn't quite connected them all together. It's one or the other. She loves to stand and will cruise when I put my arms out. The world is so exciting for her now!
