Amelia went to Kendyl's 2nd birthday party yesterday. It was a hoot! It was held at Kinetic Gymnastics. Seven toddlers/kids got to play around on gymnastics equipment. Amelia, while shy at first, had a blast jumping, swinging and running around!
Just a driveby post as Elaina is on the floor making not so nice noises...
But wanted to let you all know, Elaina cut her first tooth. It happened sometime in the first week of February! I can't believe it. She's growing up so fast. I'm going to blink and she'll be graduating from high school! :)
I promise next time I'll have more pictures and video to share!
Elaina had her first meal of "real" food last night (rice cereal). Tell me if you think she liked it.
Amelia took her bicycle out for a spin...
Wow, it's been awhile since I last posted. Nearly a half a month! I've been very busy at work and at princess play!
A few things... Elaina will be 5 months tomorrow. At her four month check up, she measured 24.5" and 13 pounds 13 ounces. She's measuring right on track and in the 50th percentile. She's laughing so much and I love it, although it scares the ba-jeebers out of me, when she shrieks and squeals with delight. She's definitely in her 6 month clothes... and has been since early January. She loves to sit up and we're already practice walking around the kitchen. We haven't really started any solids, but she has been eating a little wheat bread here and there and had some of mommy's biscuit this morning. She even had the chewing motion down.
Amelia is growing. She likes dancing around the house like "Angelina (ballerina)." She thoroughly enjoys playing princesses and has a whole castle/village set up. I love it. This past week she tried out her big girl bike (pictures to come). It's got princesses all over it. Her vocabulary is growing and I still never know what is going to come out of her mouth. She loves to sing and likes talking on the phone. The other night she wanted to talk to Daddy on the phone. When I picked up the house phone, she said, "No, Mommy. This phone" as she points to my bluetooth sitting on the arm chair. When Daddy came home, she proudly went up to him and told him she was talking to him on the bluetooth... and opened her mouth to show daddy her tooth. Way too cute!
